Q. What happens to my home when I go on holiday?
A. We will care for your home and garden while you are away for a short or extended period. We ask to be advised of any extended absence and any change of plans you may make while you are away.
Q. Can my family and friends visit me at Beetham Village?
A. Yes. Your dwelling is your home and your visitors are most welcome to
visit and use the village amenities with you.
Q. Can I rent or lease out my home?
A No. The dwelling is for the sole use of the person named in the Occupation License and their visitors.
Q. What help around the clock?
A All homes are equipped with an emergency call system which is connected 24 hours a day to the staff member on duty who will respond immediately to any calls received. In the event the staff member on duty is unable to respond, the call is relayed to an emergency call centre.
Q. Can I bring a pet?
A Yes, subject to Village management approval at the time of your application. Your current cat, caged bird or small dog will definitely be considered.
Q. Can I have my own garden?
A We encourage residents to take an active part in the creating of their gardens, but we can do as little or as much as you like. The village landscape gardeners will look after your garden along with the village grounds and gardens. Your own raised vege box is provided with each villa for residents who would like one.
Q. What other expenses will I be responsible for?
A In addition to your weekly levy, you are responsible for your own electricity, gas, and water consumption, telephone, T.V, house contents insurance, and the interior maintenance of your home. With our own network we can provide electricity at wholesale rates.
Q. What community facilities are available?

The Facilities Building consists of a resident’s lounge, dining area, pool table, café/bar, kitchen, library/computer room, hairdressers, doctors room, crafts room, indoor bowls, workshop, tool store and meeting room.
· The indoor heated swimming pool is a tepid 12m long pool and there is also a spa pool, gymnasium and changing facilities
· Outside there is a bowling green, putting green, petanque, croquet lawn, shuttle board, barbeque, and children’s play area.
Q. Is there regular financial reporting to residents?
A Yes. The annual financial reports are available to all residents. These include the past years village outgoings, financial statements and the budgets for the coming year. The accounts are reviewed by the company auditor and the Statutory Supervisor.
Q. If I have a complaint, who do I raise issues with?
A There is a Village Residents committee who can take any complaints to the Beetham Village Management or you may speak to the Beetham Village Management yourself. The Covenant Trustee Services Limited and the Retirement Villages Association are available to the residents and will assist with any problems not able to be remedied by the village management
